Scholarship Eligibility and General Information
The parent, legal guardian, or the student must receive power from the cooperative to be eligible. (Special cases of the above requirement are: parent is supplied residence on our service line as part of their pay. Applicant lives with grandparent or other family member on our service line.)
High school seniors or applicants wishing to continue their college education are eligible.
Click on a scholarship for an application: 
- Wyrulec Trade Scholarships awarded in the amount of $1000 total, paid either by semester or at once depending on where applicant has chosen to attend. (Eligibility: A senior in high school or any eligible college student.) (School must be accredited trade school.)
- Wyrulec Professional Scholarships awarded in the amount of $1000 total, paid by semester. (Eligibility:
Applicant must be entering third semester in college.)
- Tri-State Scholarships awarded in the amount of $500 total. (Eligibility: A senior in high school or any eligible college student)
- Basin Scholarship awarded in the amount of $500 per semester ($1000 total). (Eligibility: A
senior in high school or any eligible college student)
Application must be completed, but only ONE set of documents needed.
Preference is given to applicants that have not received any other scholarships or have not been awarded a scholarship from Our Company or Our Suppliers in the past.
A selection committee outside the company chooses the recipients.
Also Basin Electric awards (20) Scholarships for employees (one applicant per Member organization) in the amount of $1000 total.
