Leadership Camp
It's rare when Wyrulec Company has to pick five from among a greater number of students applying to attend Youth Leadership Camp. A greater number don't apply. But that's about to change because Wyrulec members are going to make a more sustained effort to recruit students. Students who, by the date of the camp, have completed 9th, 10th or 11th grade are eligible. The applicants must be living in the household of a member or employee of Wyrulec Company.
The camp is held at the state 4-H facility in the Halsey National Forest in Nebraska. Outdoor activities, tours, great food, a dance, and opening and running a business are some of the highlights of the camp. Leadership skills are taught by mentors and through direct experiences with the group.
Students run this camp. Chaperones are only along to, well, chaperone. They don't make organizational decisions.
Leadership Camp is a camp for kids that's operated by kids. Attendees come from all across Nebraska and the eastern edge of Wyoming.
