Tip of the month

Use the moisture sensor feature on your clothes dryer if it has one. This option shuts down the dryer when clothes are dry. In addition, clean the lint filter after each load. This improves air circulation and increases the dryer's efficiency.

Reporting a Power Outage

Emergencies and Outages: 307-837-2225 or 1-800-628-5266

To expedite your call, please give the following information:

  • Name
  • Location Number
  • Telephone Number
  • How long your power has been off
  • If you have seen anything unusual on or near your property that may have caused the outage

Never Touch A Downed Or Buried Line... It Could Be Dangerous!

If your power goes off, check fuses or circuit breakers in your home. If there is no trouble with your fuse box or breaker, check to see if your neighbor is also without power. Please report any outages to Wyrulec.

If your call is not answered immediately, it may mean others are out of power and Wyrulec's is working as fast as possible to answer telephones and dispatch crews to get service back on.

Reporting Dangerous Conditions

It's Wyrulec's job to maintain the power system to provide safe, reliable service. You can help by reporting power line conditions that need attention, such as:

  • Broken or leaning poles
  • Broken or sagging lines
  • Trees growing into lines
  • Broken insulators
  • Sparks coming from electrical wires or equipment
  • Excavation activity in areas where buried lines are likely to exist
  • Construction activity under power lines
